Now, speak clearly to start typing. Use normal volume and pace so the voice tool can understand your voice when typing correctly. Now, you can see the text you are speaking on your microphone. Click the microphone to stop listening when you have done your work. Also, start typing again by clicking the microphone. You can change your language from the voice window.

In this typing system, you can use various types of phrases to add voice commands and punctuation to your document. Remember that you can’t use punctuation in every language. And voice commands are available only in the English language. You must always use Chrome’s latest version to use this feature perfectly.

Use Voice Commands

You can easily edit and format your text when voice typing using various voice commands. You can add functions and punctuation using voice commands. You don’t need to click anything in the toolbar when voice typing. We provide some voice commands here.

Select Text: For selecting text, just say, “Select[word, all, next line, phrase, next paragraph, last word, next word].”

Format Text: For formatting, the text says phrases like “Heading[1-6]”, “underline”, “Bold”, and “Italics”.

Change font alignment and font size: Say “Increase font size” and “Decrease font size” to change the font size. And for alignment [“align center”, “align justified”, “align left”, “align right”].

Edit text document: Say phrases for edit like “copy”, “cut”, “insert page break”, “inseart header”, “inseart equation”, “inseart table contents”.

Move your cursor around the document: You can move around your document. Say phrases like “start/ end of [line, paragraph, column, document, row]”. And also say phrases like “Move to next/ previous [word, character, page, heading, line, column, row]”.
